The Australian Country Women’s Anthology is a national creative project celebrating the voices of women from rural, remote, and regional Australia through poetry.

At its heart, it is about two things: Archiving poems and stories that may have otherwise been lost - those scribbled in the margins of notebooks, passed down in memory, or hidden away in diaries. And awakening the transformative power of poetry as an accessible artform - one that speaks to our lived experience, our land and our legacy.

This anthology invites women of all ages and backgrounds to share their words: the raw, the lyrical, the unfiltered, and the true. Whether you’ve never written before or have been quietly crafting poetry for decades, your voice matters here.
